478 Reset does not collect your name, email address, location, or any personally identifiable information. It never has and never will. No account is required to use the app.
On iPhone: 478 Reset can save mindfulness sessions (duration and timestamps) to Apple Health. This is optional — you can turn it off in Settings.
On Apple Watch: 478 Reset can read your heart rate during breathing sessions to display your min/max heart rate at the end of each session. It can also save mindfulness sessions to Apple Health, the same as on iPhone.
Health data never leaves your device. It is written to and read from Apple Health only — not sent to any server, not shared with any third party, and not accessible to the developer. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → 478 Reset.
478 Reset uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data to help identify crashes and understand how the app is used.
What is collected:
What is NOT collected:
Data is hashed and anonymised before transmission — it is not possible to identify any individual user. Analytics are disabled entirely in the Simulator. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy for details.
478 Reset offers a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. The developer does not receive or store your payment information, Apple ID, or any purchase details. Your premium unlock status is stored locally in iOS Keychain and never leaves your device.
The following data is stored locally on your device only — never transmitted to any server:
478 Reset does not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party, except as described above (Apple HealthKit and TelemetryDeck anonymous analytics). There are no advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners involved.
478 Reset does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no advertising and no user accounts. The anonymous analytics collected via TelemetryDeck do not include any age information.
Because 478 Reset does not collect personal data on any server, there is nothing for the developer to delete on your behalf. All locally stored data can be removed by deleting the app, or by resetting HealthKit permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → 478 Reset.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top will be updated. For significant changes, a notice may be included in the App Store update notes.
